Install and customize document templates

Panatag includes a gallery of ready-made document templates, such as the Certificate of Employment. You install them on the Templates page and customize how they look.

Who can do this: Owner, Admin, HR. Plan: The template gallery and the General panel are free on every plan; editing the text content needs a plan with editable templates.

Install a template from the gallery

1. In the sidebar, click Templates.
2. Click Browse template gallery.
3. Click Use this template on the template you want.

Installing templates is free on every plan.

Customize a template’s look

1. On the Templates page, click the template.
2. In the General panel, set the Document title; choose whether to show the logo, company name and address; and pick the accent color, font and page size.
3. Set the Signatory name and Signatory title.
4. Set Employee self-service if you want employees to get this document themselves.
5. Click Save template.

To undo your changes, open More actions and click Reset to default.

The logo on templates comes from Settings → Company profile.

Features that need editable templates

These template features need a plan with editable templates:

• Rewriting the text sections of a template.
• Save as a copy.
• Version history.
• Import from Google Doc.
• New custom document.
