Updated October 2, 2026

The Panatag dashboard is where owners, admins, HR and accountants run payroll and manage people. This article covers signing in, creating an account, your account page (password, name, date and time format) and signing out.

Sign in to the dashboard

  1. Enter your email and password.
  2. Click Sign in.

Under the sign-in form you’ll find two links: Need an account? for creating a new account, and Forgot password? for resetting your password.

Employees do not use the dashboard. When an employee signs in, they are sent automatically to the employee portal, which is a separate web app and mobile app.

Create a Panatag account

  1. On the sign-in screen, click Need an account?.
  2. Fill in Name, Email and Password. The password must be at least 12 characters.
  3. Optionally tick Send me product updates and payroll compliance reminders. Unsubscribe anytime. It is unticked unless you tick it.
  4. Click Create account.

A Check your email screen then shows the address the verification link went to. If the email doesn’t arrive, click Resend the email, or click Back to sign in once you’ve verified.

You must click the verification link that Panatag emails to you before you can sign in. If you try to sign in before verifying, you’ll see Verify your email first with a Resend it link that sends the verification email again.

Once you’re signed in, if your email is still not verified, a banner appears with Resend verification email, which re-sends the verification link.

Reset a forgotten password

  1. On the sign-in screen, click Forgot password?.
  2. Enter your email and click Email me a reset link.
  3. Open the link in the email. The reset link expires in an hour.
  4. On Choose a new password, fill in New password (12+ characters) and Confirm new password.
  5. Click Set new password.

If no reset email arrives, check your spam folder first, then contact support at support@panatag.app.

Your account page

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open Your account. Everything on it is personal: it applies to you in every company you use, and nobody else sees it.

Change your name

Edit Your name and click Save name.

Your sign-in email is shown but can’t be changed here, because your company’s records are linked to it. To change it, email support@panatag.app.

Change your password

  1. Under Password, fill in Current password, New password and Confirm new password. The new password must be at least 12 characters.
  2. Leave Sign out of other devices ticked if you think someone else knows your old password. It signs you out everywhere except this browser, including the employee app.
  3. Click Change password.

If you don’t know your current password, click Forgot your current password? to get a reset link by email.

Choose how dates and times are shown

Under Date & time, pick a date style and a time style. Each option shows today’s date or time in that style:

  • Dates: Month name (Oct 2, 2026), Day / month / year (02/10/2026), Month / day / year (10/02/2026) or Year-month-day (2026-10-02).
  • Times: 12-hour (1:30 PM) or 24-hour (13:30).

The change saves right away and follows you to other devices. It changes the dashboard only: payslips, PDFs and emails keep their usual format. Shift times you type are always entered in 24-hour time; the readout under them spells the shift out in 12-hour time.

Sign out of other devices

Under Other devices, click Sign out of other devices to sign out everywhere except the browser you’re using, for example an old laptop. Your password stays the same.

Product updates newsletter

Owners, admins and HR also see a Product updates newsletter switch: a short email when Panatag ships something new, plus payroll compliance reminders (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and BIR deadlines). Turn it on or off anytime; every newsletter email also has a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in. Account emails, like payslip notices, password resets and invoices, don’t depend on this switch. Panatag asks once, in a Get Panatag product updates? window, if you haven’t answered yet — Subscribe or No thanks both stick, and you can change your mind later from Your account. The newsletter only goes to verified email addresses.

Sign out

To sign out of the Panatag dashboard, click the Out button at the bottom of the sidebar.
