Manage company settings
Update your company profile and logo, government registrations, branches, job roles, 201 file policy and compliance documents, and view the audit log.
Updated October 18, 2026
Settings holds your company’s details and the rules Panatag uses across payroll, attendance and documents.
Who can do this: Owner, Admin (both Settings and Audit log)
Settings tabs
The Settings tabs are Company profile, Employee Access, Access, Government registrations, Compliance documents, Payroll, Leave types, Pay items, Hiring, Devices & kiosks, Branches, 201 File, Roles and Work types. Each tab has Save changes where applicable.
Company profile and logo
On Settings → Company profile, set the Legal name, Trade name / DBA, Registered address and About the company.
Also set the Region (where your staff work) and the Industry sector for minimum wage. Panatag uses them to suggest the regional minimum wage on pay rate fields. Wage orders set different minimums by sector and, for small retail and service businesses, by headcount.
Click Upload logo to add your company logo (PNG or JPEG under 2MB). The logo appears on payslips and documents.
Government registrations
On Settings → Government registrations, record your entity type (SEC corporation or DTI sole prop), your SEC/DTI number, BIR RDO code, BIR TIN, and your SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG employer numbers. Click Reveal to view or edit them. Every reveal is logged.
Compliance documents and the 201 File policy
- Compliance documents: click Upload document to store your SEC/DTI certificate, BIR 2303, business permit or other documents (PDF or image under 10MB).
- 201 File: choose which documents each employee must have, mark required ones, and set expiry warnings, then click Save policy. Expiring 201 documents show on the Dashboard home.
Branches, job roles, work types and hiring defaults
- Branches: click + New branch, enter the Name, Code and address, place it on the map, set the Check-in radius, then click Create. A branch can have its own Region (optional) for minimum wage suggestions; left blank (Same as the company), it uses the company’s region. Branches power geofenced clock-in. Your plan includes a number of active branches (Startup and Small 1, Medium 3, Large 10). The pill next to + New branch shows how many you’re using. To add more, turn on the Extra branches add-on (₱99 per branch per month) under Billing → Add-ons.
- Roles: these are job positions, not user permissions. Click + New role, enter the Title and pay settings, then click Add role.
- Work types: for hourly staff. Click + New work type to add one.
- Hiring: interview defaults for the Hiring module.
Leave types and pay items are also created here, on Leave types and Pay items.
Pay items
On Settings → Pay items, click + New pay item, then enter the Code (slug) and Name, choose the Kind (Allowance, Reimbursement, Other Earning or Other Deduction) and the Taxability (Taxable, Non-taxable, or De minimis with a monthly ceiling), and click Create. Then attach pay items to employees on their Compensation tab.
Access and adding dashboard users
Settings → Access shows a read-only table of what each role can do, and your team member list.
There is no screen yet for adding a dashboard user (another admin, HR or accountant) or changing someone’s role. Email support@panatag.app with their name, email and role. Inviting an employee to the employee portal is different and is done from the employee’s profile.
Audit log
In the sidebar, click Audit log to see who did what. You can filter by person, action, entity and date range. Expand a row to see the before and after values, and click Export CSV to download the audit log.
